NCC/Scout & Guides

Scouts and Guides play an integral role in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). Here’s a concise overview:

• Scouts & Guides:
  • Scouts and Guides programs are followed diligently in every KV.
  • They help build confidence, self-esteem, and important life skills among students.
  • Rallies and Utsav events promote universal brotherhood and compassion.
  • Advancement schemes include different levels like Pravesh, Sopan, Rajya Puraskar, and Rashtrapati Scout/Guide Award.
• National Cadet Corps (NCC):
  • NCC training is implemented in KVs as per Ministry of Defence guidelines.
  • The motto is ‘Unity and Discipline.’
  • NCC instills patriotism and offers students valuable military skills1.

In summary, both Scouts & Guides and NCC contribute to holistic development and character-building in KVS. In PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Jhalawar Scouts & Guides programs are held periodically and the students participate with great vigor and excitement. The Vidyalaya has a Cubs & Bulbuls wing for Primary Children as well. Well trained teachers are also available to train the students.

NCC will be also be started in this Vidyalaya shortly.
